A good North Star won’t change for years.
Once it’s clear, write it down and publicly share it. Write your goals / North Star - normally most would start with this, but I’ve come to realize a true North Star takes time to emerge. Aside from seeing activities completed, it helps with organizing core workstreams, prioritization, and capital allocation/resourcing.ģ. We have a minimally viable team board and we can all see what others are working on. Track activities visibly - find a simple way to just track tasks/work transparently and visibly. It really compounds over the course of a year.Ģ.
Operate daily to weekly - so much can be accomplished if you’re in the rhythm of producing something EVERY DAY (and feel a bit impatient)! Sync with your team on the same cadence. Wow, it’s been a full year at DevRev!
